Educators have united to demand accountability and recognition of their land rights amid growing concerns over delayed allocation.
Zimta members have come together to assert their claims to Glen Forest Zimta stands, citing long-standing rights and growing frustrations over unexplained delays.
The educators, who have been paying subscriptions and installments since 2015, argue that they have been unfairly denied access to their stands, including the offer letter that should have served as a guarantee.
According to reports by some of the aggrieved Zimta members, there is deliberate delaying tactics being employed by one Mr. Zhou from the union which has further exacerbated Zimta members’ plight, according to one member who preferred identified as Tafel.
“We are not just fighting for our rights; we are fighting for our livelihoods,” said Mr. Tafel, a Zimta member, We believe that our contributions to the housing scheme were an investment.”
As the situation continues to unfold, the teachers remain resolute in their determination to secure their rightful claims to their stands and have since enlisted the services of lawyers to help them deal with the issue.

Thank you for articulating the plight of disgruntled teachers who appear to have been scammed assuming they were paying for stands. Teachers have nothing to show off having invested in this deal.
